date formats

Hi, anyway to set british date format ie: D/M/Y ?

the current format and US format freaks me out, i know what year an month it is since these are less frequent, but trying to figure out what day it is (like every day-since it's the most frequent) really twists my head inside out looking at these formats.

The only per-user options I see are what time zone you're in, whether or not to use daylight savings time, and what day the week starts on. To the best of my knowledge, the date formatter options are a per-forum setting. Sorry.
