I recently changed my super-generic OmniWeb shortcut, the one which goes to www.foo.com when you type "foo" unadorned into the location bar.
The keyword is still *, but now instead of going to:
www.%@.com
it goes to:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%@&btnI=I%27m+Feeling+Lucky
Now I can type any word or phrase into the location bar, and get instantly transported to the first Google result for that string.
