OW vs. Gmail

I love Omniweb and it seems to work as a great web browser for the mac so far. On my iMac running 10.4.7 I use the OW 5.5 beta 3, which will work on any site Safari will. On my PowerBook running 10.3.9 I use the OmniWeb 5.1.3 which will not work in Gmail (only basic HTML version). Does OmniGroup plan to make OW 5.5 avalible for 10.3.9, Or will 5.1.x be updated to support gmail, as well as other sites safari can get at?

Identify to Gmail as either Safari or Firefox via the site specific preferences and 95% of the features will work fine in 5.1.3 (or at least, they used to when I last used 5.1.3 which is some time ago now). The problem is crummy browser sniffing by Google.
