chalkboard - change default font size

Hi all.

The chalkboard diagram style in omnigraffle 5 has a default font size so large it's totally useless (any more than 5 characters and the word wraps onto a new line!).

I tried making a new diagram style with New Resource -> Diagram Style then changing the font size, saving, and creating a new template, then using format -> choose diagram style, and choosing my new style.
The font size is changed fine, but now the arrows don't appear at all.
Anyone know how to fix this?

The arrows only appear if you have some nested items in your outline. The image on the chalkboard template corresponds to the attached image as you can see when you go to edit it:

If you just have a list of level 1 rows, there wouldn't be any arrows.
