3 way sync issues [Archive] - The Omni Group Forums

Hi,

Trying to sync an iMac G4, and iPodTouch and MacBook Pro Intel 2.53 GHz, via MobileMe.
The iPT & MBP sync fine and quickly.
The G4 tries almost forever then times out.
All other MM syncing works fine between these 3 (idisk, mail, iCal, AB, etc).
Syncing OF with all 3 via bonjour works fine.
Have tried "Reset"

Advice?

Also tried the Roots Transaction solution (http://forums.omnigroup.com/showthread.php?t=12500) and swapping in a common (most recent) database.

And the G4 won't Show/Fetch Clients either.

Call up the Omni support ninjas and have them check everything out with you.

If that machine can't show the client files from the server, it sounds like it's having trouble reaching the server.

Best thing to do is probably to contact us via email (omnifocus@omnigroup.com\) so we can gather some log files which will give us more information about what that Mac is doing differently than the other two.

The G4 tries almost forever then times out.

Could your G4 have a stale MobileMe password stored away somewhere in its keychain? Some versions of Mac OS X have a bug where get confused when they find an out-of-date keychain entry, and rather than returning control to the application (so it can prompt for the correct password) they just try again with the wrong password from the keychain.
