Data Exchange in iTunes, what's the reason?

Hi

In iTunes under App it is possible to exchange more then one file for omnifocus. What's the reason for this?

Document-access in iTunes is perfect (OK, maybe not perfect) for applications like OmniGraffle — move documents in, or take them out to view on the desktop.
For OmniFocus, it's a great way to have access to make backups, or to perhaps send along to us if you encounter a problem with something.
