With the preference set as default to open a page in a new background tab:
- when I Command+click a link set to open a page in the same window, it does so, but OW also beeps at me.
- when I Command+click a link set to open a page in a new window, OW opens the new window with the page, does not open a new tab with the desired page, and beeps at me for good measure.

Depending on the situation (eg, if the link is target="_blank") it's a known issue:

This was confusing because there is no Known Issues Update under sp6; last is under sp5. So, I interpreted that all known issues under sp5 had been fixed and perhaps that was reason enough to release sp6 to the public.

That was my fault. The known issues update should be under Sneaky Peek 6, Sorry for the confusion. (Will be fixed in the morning.)

I have a problem cmd-clicking to open link in a background tab.

When I click the link at the end of the article to view the source by cmd clicking it opens it in a new window not a new tab but if I right click on the link and select it to open in a new tab it will do so.
