dmg password not working

Maybe I'm just a bit daft, but I can't get the password for the latest sp to work. I'm typing in "bring your own support" just as the sticky thread says, but it just keeps prompting me for my password. What gives?

I just picked up the sneaky peaks today, so downloaded v578. Entered the password ... zoooom ...

No problem with it here ... TiBook 400Mhz/640MB, 10.4.6 ...

try copy and past the password into the DMG... that should work

You might try clicking the checkbox to add the password to the keychain... I ran into a similar issue downloading in Safari.

You are not using a keyboard layout with z, w and y changed?

I tried it with and without spaces, no "" and no ' I'm using US keyboard layout and copy and paste doesn't work for passwords for dmgs.

Anyway the most recent and the previous dmg won't accept the password. I'm on OS X 10.4.6 ppc.

Try downloading the image again, and type the password WITH spaces, without quotes.

the problem isn't that I'm putting in the wrogn passsword the problem is that I don't know the password anymore. I had it when I first got the sneaky peak but I since had to redl it and the PW is no longer posted... :(

I've to use password twice before it was accepted by the sp 7.

That problem happened to me on Salling Clicker 3.x closed beta served with a different password, nobody could find what causes it and Jonas Salling was of course were busy with his own code. :)

I tell you a weird thing, it has nothing to do with spaces in password.

If it worked now, OK. That is a OS X bug I am sure but as the password images always used in betas like this, nobody can spare time to find what causes it and come up with a bug report at bugreporter.apple.com site.
