Only a cosmetic improvement: It's possible to sort the bookmarks alphabetically in the Bookmarks window (cmd-B). But (AFAIK) the alphabetic order isn't applied to the folders of the Favorites Bar, and I'd wish that the bookmarks are displayed in alphabetic order also when a folder of the Favorites Bar is clicked.

Yeah... I've requested the functionality of this for awhile but for now I export my bookmarks into safari and then sort via bookmarkdog and then reimport into OW. All in all takes about a min or so... I use bookit to migrate the bookmarks back and forth

If you already use Bookit, why not sort there also?
Or.... is there some sort of bug when using BookIt? I was having "odd" crashes or freezes, and decided to 'start fresh' and see if there was anything I could be doing leading to problems.
My bookmarks go all the way back. To Netscape 1.1N probably. And number 2K+ I imagine. URL Manager Pro is another option. Safari Sorter and Safari Bookmark Exporter.
It would be nice to know which is any/all work best and some "endorsement" that they won't corrupt bookmark files.

Oh because I like to sort it first by folders so that folders are at the top and then bookmarks without folders all alphabetically such that it looks like this
Folder A; Folder B; Link A; Link B; etc
and that organization populates down into the sub folders as well. Currently Bookit doesn't do this and since I used Safari before OW I had bookdog and then when I decided to start using OW full time (I had a license for about 2 years but only completely switched recently, had to force my self away from Safari but I'm glad I did) so I decided to use bookit so I could keep my .Mac bookmarks in sync.
