There's a calendar? I've lurked here for a while, but I never noticed that.

There sure is. See the navigation bar in the top box on the page. Alas, nothing on there except the holidays of those who have dared to provide it.

Puzzling. When I click on it, I'm told I don't have enough privileges to view it.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the use of a calendar on a forum?

vB isn't just a forum. It's more of a "web site in a box" type thing. Sites I see use the vB calendar use it for event dates, birthdays... pretty much anything that a group of people might schedule.

The OG could use it for telling us when certain people are (or are not) working, release schedules, testing schedules...
