question about omnigraffle pro beta 2 (size and deleting old)

i saw the other demo, which is the current stable release, and it's about twice the size of the new beta - though all functions appear to be identical!

it was not clear on the beta installation page if the old pro 4 should be deleted because when dragged to finder, the application does not attempt to overwrite itself (which is good for the beta) - but is it fine to delete the other (older one) and simply use the beta? is it missing features because it's so much smaller in file size (i think had circa 70+ megs on old versus 40ish on new)

The beta doesn't include any language support (see the release notes - this version is the one that is to be localised for international users). The stable release will include language support in its package and that probably accounts for the difference in the file sizes.

Yes, the translated strings and things take up a surprising amount of space in the final application, and both of the OG 4.2 betas released so far are English-only.

Also, with OG 4.2, we've started compressing the .graffle files that are contained within the application (stencils, etc.)— this has been somewhat supported for a few versions, but we're making more use of it now.
