Where download OF beta

Maybe I'm stupid or my english is not good enough.

I'm registerd in mailing list some hours ago but I cannot find a link to download the OF beta.

Apparently Omni are sending out the links in batches, on a first-registered-first-served basis, to avoid being swamped with feedback....

If it helps to have a data point, I joined the beta announce mailing list on 27 January and received my sneaky peek invitation 43 hours ago.

Bushford - I checked our mailing list software; you are subscribed to the list and we have you in the queue for a beta invite when we have room. Not sure why your invite hasn't gone out yet, but we'll get you in as soon as we can.

There was a glitch in our system with the mailing list subscription dates. We just sent out more invitations and at this point anyone who subscribed to the list before February 1st should have gotten an invitation. In addition, about 20 lucky people who subscribed in the last week were accidently given invitations. Congrats! It's your lucky day! Sorry to those who are still waiting. At this point we probably won't be sending out any more invitations until next week.

You can check whether you're on the list by going to the omnifocus-beta-announce options (http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/options/omnifocus-beta-announce) page and asking the list to mail you your password.

I threw away the 'please confirm' and the 'welcome to the mailing list' emails after signing up, so I can't check, but I guess it must have been after February 1st, then. Having to wait still longer is no fun!

The easiest thing to do would be to send an email from the address you signed up with to netsec@omnigroup.com (mailto:netsec@omnigroup.com). I can figure this out for you.

Keep in mind, though, that the more time we spend doing stuff like this, the less time we have to get the app out of testing and into everyone's hot little hands. ;-)

A win for us is defined as one or more pieces of feedback, isn't it? So this would be more of a "you win and we don't lose" situation. ;-)

In all seriousness: we know it's frustrating to wait. We're adding folks as quickly as we can. But keep in mind that the bug count is going down (and the feature count is going up) on a daily basis. The app is literally more useful the longer you wait. Hopefully, that's a bit of a silver lining for the folks that are still in the queue.

Sorry to break the news to you, but if you subscribed to the mailing list in April, you probably have a few more weeks to wait before you get an invitation to the alpha feedback program. We're getting lots of great feedback and we don't want to end up with a big pile of email no one has time to read. We plan to keep adding people on a weekly basis, but the list is long and it may take a while to include everyone.

I'm honestly not sure what month we are on now. I know we have invited close to 2000 people. We'll all be gone for the holiday weekend and hope to invite more people next week, but we'll probably wait until we get the email back-log from the weekend under control.

I'm showing that I joined the list Jan 31, and have not recieved an invite; tho it's possible that one was sent, and it got in w/the spam.
