View Full Version : Applescript, run from USB
Since I haven't tested OmniFucus myself I would like to ask two questions:
+ Does OmniFocus support Applescript? (creating tasks and storing them into a specific folder=
+ Is there any need for an installer or could I run OF from an USB (I'm not asking for support for preference storage etc, just that I can it with me and run it on another Mac to view an existing file ...)

Yes, OmniFocus includes fairly extensive (but in this early stage still somewhat buggy) AppleScript support. (SpiralOcean has posted some updated Quicksilver scripts in the thread he linked to above.)

There's no need for an installer, you can run it from USB or its DMG or whatever. (Of course, performance may suffer somewhat if you're running it from a slow device—though not nearly as much as it's suffering right now with OmniObjectMeter zombie tracking turned on.)

and then that song gets stuck in my head...

OK, then I'll relax and wait until it becomes available for testing
Quicksilver scripts in the thread he linked to above.
I don't use QuickSilver so I never read those messages.

Good, I was hoping that it would be like that
