Hi,

does anyone know, if there are any options for the quicksilver add on?

Cheers

"Send to Omnifocus" is working again.
Call up QuickSilver, type "." followed by whatever. Tab to "Send to Omnifocus" - the task will appear in the Inbox.

Are there any option so that you could already assing a context and project in quicksilver?

Cheers

task>proj@place

will make a new inbox item called "task", a new project called "proj" and a new context called "place".

I wish this would work for LaunchBar also, which I use constantly (although I do like the OF entry bar, it's like training wheels).

Although I'm a QS nut, I don't really see an advantage to this. Having the OF quick entry will auto complete which cuts down on mistakes and let's you start new projects.

I did the above, but didn't work for me. I tried with and w/out spaces in the syntax.

AppleScript is usually the key to expanding LaunchBar, and since OF will be completely scriptable, this shouldn't be a problem.

Me neither. I get a new project with the entire string as the title.

Hmm . . . it's not working anymore. We'll try to include an updated script soon. Sorry about that!

I always used "Send to KGTD Advanced" http://inik.net/node/48 with kGTD. It worked great, and I could choose to launch it from Quicksilver, Launchbar, Fastscripts, or just about anything else that could launch a script. It has a similar syntax for task entry as the Send to OF Script. It also has Growl notification built in, and it is GPL'ed. I haven't had a chance to hack it to work with OF, but with some careful editing, it should work just fine.

I'd like to give the Quick Entry window a try instead of the Quicksilver action. Is there a way to assign a single-keystroke trigger to directly open up the Quick Entry window from Quicksilver?

It gets even better with OmniFocus. Move "send to omnifocus" up the order in the quicksilver preferences under actions. so, every time you press period key, you'll see the "send to omnifocus" as your default action, which makes it faster and makes you lazy.

OmniFocus prefs allow you to set a hot key for the QuickEntry window that will make it operate in much the same manner as QuickSilver.
