Roman Numerals

When I add roman numerals to the various levels of my outline the first leve 1 line has a small roman numeral while the rest have caps. Is there a way to make the first row cap also. I tried toggling between lower and upper case.

The way I added numbering was through the level styles. Is this the correct way?

Did you try selecting just the first row? Do you see anything change when you toggle lower/upper case?
