I've sent in a large number of crash reports with this particular issue, but for some reason in all sneaky peeks from 7 to 10, I'm crashing very often when closing tabs. The crash is always in thread 0, and looks like:

Perhaps you could elaborate on the nature of the crash?

I really don't know what else to provide. I close a tab, either with the mouse or by using Ctrl-w, and it crashes. It does this on two different computers, one Power PC and one Intel. It doesn't seem to matter what's in the tab, it doesn't matter if the tab drawer is shown, it doesn't matter if, in the drawer, the page images are visible or collapsed.

There was a crash caused by the new hidden pref OWOpenNewFramesInTabs upon closing tabs, but it was supposed to be fixed in sp10. Have you set this pref?

I use to have crashes frequently in the past as well. I thought it was due to...

MS Opticalmouse driver at one point
OmniWeb plist (very possible)
Bookmarks file - from using Bookit to synchronize

I would use one of the 4 buttons on mouse assigned to command + W, and another button was assigned to Command + `

And because the plist does get updated a lot, and holds all the site preferences, that is a very very critical file. Needs to be backed up a lot, use Applejack and a plist checker, maybe Property List Editor can verify?

it got so bad, and OmniWeb would sometimes show the "Application Not Responding" (javascript on some shopping carts especially) that I removed the OmniGroupCrashCatcher.app just in case it was a 'false catch.'

Are you continuing to get these crashes in sp10?

Oh, and to verify plist files, run this in the terminal:
plutil -lint [files ...]
