Link to a file - Bug?

Hi there,

i am new to OF since a few days. The most functions are very intuitive. But when i try to attach a link to a file (e.g. a .jpg) in a note field it displays the whole picture and not the link. I marked "create a link to file" but it still shows the picture not the link. Is this a bug or is there a workaround how to link to a file?

It is not entirely consistent. Some files link as an image or pdf (for example, .jpeg, .gif, and .pdf) and some link as a icon (for example, .oo3 {OmniOutliner}, .pages, and .doc). URLs show up as an underlined word or phrase. Address Book contacts show up as a NOT-underlined word or phrase.

I don't know if the ones that show up as an images and .pdfs are stored in the OF file or not, but I don't think so. I am pretty sure the others are just links, but there is or will be a way to store the entire file in OF.

The ability to view an entire pdf has been added since I last linked to a pdf. That is nice.
