I'd like to see the "tab drawer" become a more useful drawer that can show (and allow editing of) bookmarks, history, download log, etc. (Shiira implements multi-usage of the drawer as an example).
Listing the tab thumbnails then, would simply be one usage of that valuable drawer space.
