Ouch! spinning rainbow of death

I started having terrible problems in 95919. Trying to delete a project (and possibly trying other things--it's hard to tell) leads to a nasty hang in which OF says its trying to save to the cache, hangs forever, and eats increasing amounts of system resources until it takes me 30 seconds just to get the dock up and force-quit it.

I've tried following suggestions at http://tinyurl.com/29sbcf including removing the cache and updating the app (currently at 96003) and nothing is working. Even trying to launch a backup file from yesterday has failed to fix the problem.

There were a couple builds of ill-repute around 60-62. v63 has addressed some of the issues with deletion and inspector selection changing that cropped up (some of the bugs where new, but at least one was long standing).

If you can still reproduce problems in v63, please use Help > Send Feedback with details of how to reproduce the problem (including app support files and preferences if possible) and post the RT number here so I can get to it quicker.

Thanks! I just got 96065 and the first 1 minute has gone well. I will keep working and report per your instructions if it recurs.

Heh. Are those anything like rodents of unusual size?

12 hours later and it's still working. Phew! and thanks. It's hard to test this kind of software without investing in it deeply, and my trust in Omni might have led me to go a bit further than I should have with a beta.
