OmniWeb 5.1.3 (10.4.6, DP 2.5 G5) doesn't work with GWT.

The Hello World sample is OK, but the others fail. The JavaScript console shows various errors, but I haven't tried to track down exactly what's wrong.

From looking at the user-agent sniff (which is compiled into the HTML file for the application), OmniWeb should be getting detected as Safari (and Safari works fine).

I have been working with GWT since the beta came out several weeks ago, and just noticed this since I'ld gotten fed up with hangs due to some recent change in Firefox, so decided to go back to OmniWeb.

Hey Jim,

You should check out OmniWeb 5.5. Preview releases are available here:

http://forums.omnigroup.com/showthread.php?t=527

The examples should be working much better here! You'll need to be logged in to see this page.

The OmniWeb 5.5 Sneak Peek does indeed do fine on the GWT demos and fixes the hang with this page:

With ICEfaces, everything works fine except for one.

The Popup Panel of the Component Showcase gets all confused by the modal popup dialog.

Excellent job!

If you know what the patch is that fixes this nasty JavaScript problem, you should probably make a point release for OmniWeb 5.1.
