OmniWeb 5.7 beta 2 Now Available!

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that we've posted 5.7 beta 2 this evening for your downloading pleasure.

This primarily updates localizations but there is also crash fixed that could appear when pressing undo after closing a tab.

Thank you for the update. That site pref icon was a pain. Let's see,...did they do anything with the tabs?....looking....looking.....nada. Not a thing. I don't know how hard it is to add the horizontal tabs but my guess is that a reply to this post will contain the words "OmniWeb 6", "maybe" and "2010".

This beta still can't display the bookmarks in the Bookmarks menu.

But, when OW is running, the Mac will not launch the screen saver or turn the screen to sleep.

I turned my display to sleep after 1 mn and wait to make a try : OW running will never sleep, OW is off, the display will sleep. Tried the same with Screen Saver same result.

I have tried everything with leaving deamons and any other software, and the only to way get back everything working again while i never had this problem before is to quit OmniWeb and then everything goes back OK.

Invisible tabs were implemented years ago.

I'm surprised you haven't seen them.
