I work with european and us date notations, so i would like to be able to set these in Omni prefs per document as opposed to my system prefs.
Is there currently a way to format the start / date column into something like july 28, 2008?
Insert blank line to mark / offset groups from each other
Not print dropshadows in the gantt chart

The only way to set your date format for the outline and inspectors is to go to your system preferences. If you're wanting to set the gantt chart date headers, you can set those in the OmniPlan preferences under the "Display" options.

We have a feature request to turn off drop shadows in the gantt chart as well adding blank lines to the outline to help mark/offset groups. I'll add a vote to both of these for you.

Is there any way to put a break (a space, a carriage return) between the lines while in one topic or text group?

Yep! Option-return will insert a line break at the cursor location.

Thanks!!

Hmmm ... thought I tried that. Must have been the old cursor trick.
