MobileMe Sync "Success" Confirmation?

How do I know that my OF DB was successfully sync'd to my iDisk short of looking in the preferences under the sync tab? Are we supposed to get a confirmation box telling us that everything worked?

no confirmations here, then again no errors either...but if you add the sync icon to the toolbar it animates during sync :)

good sugestion! Thanks fir the answer as well. I am going to try OF again now that it has sync capabilities with mobileme. If that works between machines good, then I am going to get the new iPhone app too.

Ctl Click on the toolbar
Select "Customize Toolbar"
Drag the sync button to the toolbar
Click "Done"

To customize the toolbar, go to View->Customize Toolbar... and there you can build the toolbar of your choosing.

In addition to the spinning toolbar icon, when you sync from OF (Desktop), you can also follow the progress of the via the synching bar -- that lives in the snyc preference pane.

It would be great (ultimately) to have something similar way to judge the syncing progress on the iPhone version.

The progress bar is (and would be for the iPhone) particularly useful for slow connections.

Edit: Ah, just noticed there is a bar on the iPhone version -- it just hides until it
is in use (as does the desktop version for that matter ... )
