export grid

the grid on my canvas can be printed on the printer and saved as a pdf (print dialog). But it can't be exported to a jpeg, png etc, neither exported to a pdf.
Is there a workaround?
Problem: I should send a multipage-Document as a one-page pdf, with grid on.

I'd like to bounce this topic. For the first time I tried printing a document with a grid. No go in terms of the Export to JPG, TIFF, PDF, etc.

Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? There's clearly times when people would like to export/save their document with the grid showing (not just literally print out the document).

Thanks for any help or further information on this issue.
