Thank-you for the help of this forum. I have been an enthusiastic user of OmniFocus for some time, and want to use Siri for task input.

This is a new phone for me, and I have owned the previous generations of the iPhone. I can get Siri to add tasks to my Reminders list, and I can get OmniFocus to recognize those tasks in my Inbox. However it will only work for about 5 minutes. For some reason OmniFocus truncates my iCloud password.

If I re enter my password, it will work for another 5 minutes, then revert to the truncated password.

I have restarted each program, rebooted the phone, and nothing seems to have helped the problem.

It was a phone call that I had to make last night and it was overdue, but I completed it and marked it complete on my iPad. The task is shown as complete on my iPhone, but that overdue statement is still there and won't go away.

Hi all,

Everything works fine on my Mac and iPad. But, on the iPhone, when I launch the app (using 1.14.1), it tells me reminders couldn't be updated AND when I try to sync (OmniSync), it has my username in a non-editable field and asks me to enter my password in the same pop-up box. I do. It keeps asking for my password. It refuses to sync.

I've tried resetting the database, reinstalling the app, moving to another sync option and back to OmniSync, changing my password on the website... nothing is working. The app will not sync.

Ideas?

I really depend on this capability to pass action items on to my subordinates and to remind them. The iPhone is the perfect place to do this - it's easy to review actions with a subordinate at their desk or in an ad hoc meeting. But then I can't send them the action until I get back to my desk.

However, GPS still seems to be stuck on even with no need for GPS monitoring, and OmniFocus is skipping any Siri reminders with location data (the two issues addressed by this update). I have force-quit the app on the iPhone, but that didn't help. I have rebooted the iPhone, but that didn't help either.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE: I checked location services, and OmniFocus shows a solid purple icon instead of a hollow purple icon.
