Convert inbox item to single-action task list?
 

Dragging an item into the outline makes an inbox item into a project.

Is there any way dragging it to the outline to make it into a single action item list? Kinda like when you select an inbox item on the iphone, you can make it into a single action item list?

A single action list is just a type of project. Once you can drag it to the sidebar, select the new project and then open the inspector window and you can turn it to a single action list there.
