smallest time unit

Apologies, but I posted this in the Omniplan iPad sub-forum - it doesn't seem very active there so I posted here. Hope that's ok.

I'm considering buying OmniPlan for the iPad but I have a small question first.

I'd like to use OmniPlan to plan not just days but hours and possibly even minutes. Is this doable, and more the point, practical within OmniPlan for iPad?

I haven't seen any screenshots or videos where the timeline can zoom in to that fine detail

Many thanks

On the iPad, I'd say we're part way there. The iPad will not display the seconds fields of any dates (say, task start and end dates) or let you enter them. You can make an hour as wide as you like on the Gantt chart, but it will never switch to minutes scale, where it would hypothetically display a label and grid lines for every minute. You can turn on minutes & seconds in the duration fields and enter them as normal, so by linking tasks you can wind up with a task that starts at 8:30:45, but the seconds will be truncated from display. Those fractions of minutes will accrue normally and all the times will be correct internally.
