Printing flashcards on both sides of paper with front and back and proper line-up
 

I want to make small flashcards for school on A4 or B4 paper. Each page would have 9 cards. I would like them to have a front (graphic) and back side (word/sentence). How would I set up so that the cards would align properly? The end result would be like a playing card.

I have tried duplicating a canvas with 9 cards (rectangles) but when I print out the two sides do not align.
Our printer is capable of dual sided printing (RISO). I would be exporting this as a PDF document for printing.
Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?
