Sync Library

For syncing, does OmniFocus use built in cocoa libraries or is the sync framework something OmniFocus has developed in-house?

We've coded up our own sync engine. I'm not an engineer, so I'm not qualified to comment on why we went that way vs. the built-in Sync Services stuff...
