Just Need to Read Contents of an Outline on iPhone
There are a gazillion threads about wanting OO on iphone, what features we'd want there, etc.
I have a simpler need. I have a business plan extensively fleshed out in OO. I need to be able to read it (not write to it or otherwise fool with it) on my iphone. Fully expanded rows (not compactible) would suit me fine. What are my best bets? I guess the quickest/dirtiest would be to export to text and convert to epub, and upload to iphone ibooks. The problem is it would look pretty spidery! Any other solutions? |
Print to PDF and load as a favorite in Dropbox is what I do.

Thanks.

I use Bill's approach for outlines that don't change much. Another approach I use is to copy and paste from OO into Notational Velocity, then read the outlines in SimpleNote on my phone or iPad. This is great for things like packing lists or grocery lists, where I just delete rows in SimpleNote as I complete them.

Export to .opml from OO, upload to accompanying website for iPhone app CarbonFin Outliner, sync to app, all data, hierarchy preserved, can expand/collapse with any granularity desired.
