Turn off "Correct Spelling Automatically" as default setting

I do a lot of work multiple languages. It is frustrating, to say the least, to witness a sea of red underline everytime I copy and paste foreign-language text to OmniOutliner.

Is there a way to turn off "Correct Spelling Automatically" and save this as the default setting?

You should be able to turn it off for the new document template to prevent it from being on for new documents. OmniOutliner menu > Preferences > General tab > Edit New Document Template
