Inbox Items not Cleaning Up
 

Although in the preferences window of cleanup inbox items I have selected "Both a Project and a Context". But when I assign to an inbox item a Project and a context , the item remains in the inbox. Why doesn't it move to a project? Do I have to drag it to project every time?

Are you invoking a cleanup with command-K or the toolbar button (might not be in the default toolbar, I don't recall), or changing to a different perspective? The cleanup doesn't take place when you assign project and context; those restrictions define what must be set before a cleanup will have any effect, not the circumstances which will trigger one.

Ah ofcourse the cleanup! Just realized I asked a dumb question. You can tell I am quite new to Omnifocus! Thank You!
