scheduling tasks from start date

I am building a template. How do I key the start date of a task from the start date of the project when the start date of the project in not determined yet? In other words, if I know I want to have completed a task 10 days after the project start date, how put that into the template?

I answered the specific 'complete 10 days after project start' question in the other thread. But in general, if you want to plan a project without specific dates, you can switch the whole project over to generic dates.
In the Project: Information inspector, there are two Start options:
(1) Undetermined Date and (2) On [12/08/08 8:00 AM].
By default, option 2 is selected and filled in with today's date when you start a new project. Instead, you'll want to choose option (1).

I have tried both these options and can only add project date to the first task. Please advise.

Once you set the project start date to undetermined, you can select a task, bring up the Task : Information inspector, then type "T + 10 days" in the actual start field. Now, that task should start 10 days after the project start date.
