disabling auto-layout
 

Is there any way of disabling auto-layout by default for new documents? Its annoying to have your diagram start rearranging itself automatically when you are in the middle of doing something. As it turns out, undo does not always return things to their pre-arranged state, so it can involve a lot of work to put things back.

Wrong forum (I assume you are talking about OmniGraffle?). However, set up a blank template with auto-layout switched off and pick and use it as your default template in the Preferences
