Quick Entry: warning for loss of multiple actions

Please let me know if the following has already been covered: I did a quick search and didn't see anything about it.

I'm just getting used to OmniFocus, and I was in the middle of entering a number of items via Quick Entry to bring over items from external lists. I got a bit escape happy, and what do you know, I lost everything in the Quick Entry window.

My suggestion is that the current behavior remains when there is only one action (or two actions, one of which is blank), but some type of warning is issued when you are about to lose 2 or more actions.

Interesting point. I've logged <bug://bugs/44066> (Using the 'escape cancels' option can lead to accidental data loss in Quick Entry) on this issue. One option for now would be to switch to 'Switch between editing text and selecting row' in the Quick Entry section of the General preference pane.

The Return/Escape preferences are mostly intended for folks used to Quicksilver, but since the application itself uses Escape to toggle row/text selection, this seems perilous. I'd be happy to see this preference disappear and only have cmd-period for canceling. If nothing else, it seems like the "non-Quicksilver" options should be the defaults.

it's funny, i had already switched the Return functionality, and looking at it, changing Escape makes sense too. that way things act more as a standard mac application. i'm primarily a launchbar user, so some of this quicksilver stuff seems really foreign to me.
