script to make an inactive project active and move it to a selected folder

I use curt's populate templates script quite often. But to keep my templates from cluttering things up, I have them set to on hold.

So when I need to start a new work project, my work flow is as follows:

1. Select perspective that switches to the templates.
2. Create and populate the templates.
3. Switch to perspective with on-hold projects
4. Move new project to the folder I keep for work projects
5. Set new project to active status.
6. switch to view of active projects.

What I'd love is a script that would automate steps 4-6. Is there anything out there close to that, even just something that would move the selected project directly to a predefined folder would be helpful.

Or in the alternative, is there anyway to change the status of a project from on hold to active without using the mouse?

Why not put your templates in a folder that is dropped, leaving the templates active but out of sight? When you run Curt's script, the new project will be at the root level of your tree, outside the dropped folder, and the project immediately springs to life.

When I set my workflow up, the dropped category didn't exist. Let me give that a try. I haven't really explored how that category works.

What about an script to move a selected project to a selected folder? Even if I use your suggestion above, it would still be nice to have a way to send projects straight to the appropriate folder without having to drag and drop them. I have a pretty long list of projects and dragging can be a little bit unwieldy.
