Using OF to combine GTD & Mark Forester's DWM... a question

Without some context, this request will seem bizarre. So if you're curious about the DWM system:

Essentially, new tasks get a due date 1 month from today, all unfinished tasks get a due date of 7 days. Any tasks that expire (overdue), get dismissed/deleted from the system.

Question: Is there a way to create a perspective whereby all OVERDUE tasks are hidden, deleted, etc?

Thanks.

If you make a context mode perspective that is grouped by due date, you can close the groups corresponding to due dates in the past and save the perspective with the restore expansion box checked. It's not quite an ideal situation because you have to decide whether to keep today's tasks visible or not, and you can have a mix of overdue and not-yet-overdue tasks in the today group.

A different approach you could use is to go into the OmniFocus Style preferences, select the style for Overdue, and change it to make the text invisible. There will still be a checkbox visible, and such actions will still occupy space, but anyone using Forster's methods needs to be good at picking things out of a page full of clutter, right? :-)

whpalmer4 - brilliant! Thanks.

Argh - it would seem "due today" and overdue are the same thing in Omni. Any way to fix this?

Well, no, they aren't identical, but they do get grouped together because of how the grouping code works. You could set your due times to be very late in the day so nothing would be overdue today before the end of the day, if that helps.
