Formatting (after archiving)
Hello!
Is there a way to change the default-formatting of entrys (notes etc.)? The strike-through is a bit heavy on readibillity. I'd need to keep completed stuff from certain projects in my archive. I have not found any way to get rid ot the strike-through. cmd-T shows the font, but without any strike-through-selection even though the text is (whatever this is in English) striked-through… (sorry about that). If it is (not yet) possible, make it a feature-request. It makes sense to have finished entries clearly marked as completed but in certain perspectives (e.g. "archive") one should be able to not see them. Any hints comments are welcome. Greetings, Rolf |
Hi Rolf,
1) Go to a NA that has the "strike-through" text. 2) Hit command +"T" or Format Pulldown--Font-- Show Fonts 3) In the upper left corner of the font inspector, you'll see a "T" with a line through it. Using the disclosure triangle change to "none" You just have to change one style and it will change throughout OF Hope this helps. Steve |

Using the disclosure triangle change to "none"[/QUOTE] That works as advertised initially, but it doesn't save. The format resets to gray strike-through when you close and reopen the OF file. I wonder if that is a bug. I think we can change other text formatting. |
Formatting (after archiving): on usabillity
Hi, was happy initially with the tip but as you posted, it doesn't stick. Well I hope it will improve in beta. The strike-through affects usabillity if one has to work with keeping track in projects. OF is workable as a outline/GTD-tool I think but then this should be included.
Looking foreward to the further changes. Greetings, Rolf |
