Keyboard Shortcuts for Perspectives not working

I've assigned several of these, but none of them work. Is there some special trick?

It might be that there is a system shortcut that is eating it, or some other app. Which shortcuts are you trying to assign?

All with the ctrl (^) key + a letter like I, J, K, etc. They really don't do anything. But they're working for other people? Is there something I have to turn on in OF Preferences?
