Icons as attachments

This seems odd to me.
When I add a file as an attachment (and in this case, the file shows up as a blank icon (no logo), there is no title to show what the file is. At the very least, I would expect a mouse-over to pop up and show the file name. Enclosed picture of my issue. Is there a way to display the file name? |
I agree, the icon should at least show the same attributes as it does when viewed in the Finder. And a title should be appended to it just as it is in an e-mail attachment, for instance.

This is a long-standing gripe many have had with the attachment feature in OmniFocus. The Omni Group is aware of it and is, supposedly, considering some changes for a future version.
In the mean time, you can use Quick Look to preview the attached file/folder (but only if you're running Leopard). -Dennis |
I think it's also a bit odd how the curser changes to a hand when over the icon, as if something is going to happen with a single click (like following a link), yet it actually needs a double click.
I don't want it to work on a single click BTW, as then it'd be difficult to select the item to delete it, but it is odd that the hand appears. Mark |
