Exceptions and Overtime???
Hi all,
I'm evaluating OmniPlan (1.5 beta), and am trying to figure out if there's a way to calculate overtime for employees. I saw that there is a way to do "exceptions" on the calendar, but I couldn't figure it out. And I couldn't see how it applied to overtime. Can anyone shed some light on this? Ideally, I'd like to be able to set up my employees to get time and a half for a sixth day, and double time for a seventh day. Regards, hoju |
Each resource can only have 1 cost/hour. So you'd have to set up extra resources at the new billing rates "Joe -- time and a half" and "Joe -- double time" and set their schedules to only be one day each. Then you'd have to coordinate scheduling tasks between the 3 different Joes. You could probably make it work, but OmniPlan doesn't really have proper support for this.
