When do edits trigger a sync event?
 

This question is mainly relevant to testing for conflicts, especially when the subject file is open on multiple devices.

When do Mac edits trigger a sync event? Whenever OS auto syncs? Only when Mac user Saves?

Same question for the iPad. Can the user tell definitively when a change will trigger a sync?

Sync happen when a save happens, either a manual save by the user, or an auto-save by the OS. What conditions warrant an autosave is up to the application being used, not OmniPresence.

Thanks, as I thought. So the user doesn't know when the autosave syncs are triggered. At least I don't know the OmniOutliner autosave algorithm.
