OmniWeb appends txt extension to binary downloads
Go to this page and right-click on the 16kb download link, then choose Download Link To. On my system, OmniWeb 5.5b3 mistakenly adds a "txt" extension to the downloaded file. Instead, it should leave the filename with its original "scpt" extension.

It's the way the web server is configured: "Content-Type" = "text/plain";
They "think WebKit gives priority to the content-type and assumes that you're going to want the extension the file was downloaded as." |
Although OW probably shouldn't be adding the '.txt' extension, it seems to me that the main problem is that the server doesn't have a MIME type set up for '.scpt' (which is why you have to right-click to download it).
