forced repositioning
 

I've been using automatic layout a lot lately and ran into an issue where if I'm zoomed into my diagram (say at the bottom right of a 11x17 sheet) and I delete an object, it will reposition the focus to the top left corner of the canvas (0,0). This behavior does not exist with Automatic Layout turned off. I've gone through all the settings I can find, tested it with a variety of templates, and with Automatic Layout turned on, nothing (outside of working exclusively with "Fit to Window" on) seems to keep the document focus from shifting to top-left. I'm using OG5... am I missing an option or setting?

I've been playing with this more and it appears to be a function of "Layout Diagram" as I can repeat this behavior simply selecting that option from the context menu. Is there any way to turn this behavior off?
