exporting to other formats/apps

I know there are ways to import iGTD and other formats INTO OmniFocus. But what about exporting them BACK into iGTD or a text/human readable format?

I think I like OmniFocus, but I'm not 100% sure and I find myself inputting new tasks into both programs and/or just writing them on a piece of paper and my trusted system is quickly breaking down! Knowing there is some way to easily move my info back into my old system would settle my rattled nerves.

My apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but a search of recent posts didn't come up with this particular topic.

Thanks,
Eric

Exporting is still in the works. If you have specific request for what you'd like to see (besides iGTD), please send them here: omnifocus@omnigroup.com. You can also reach this via the menu in OmniFocus (Help > Send Feedback).

If you have any specific requests, we do have the OmniFocus Extras forum. If you don't find it there, there's also a place for requests.

Thanks!

I think being able to export to a plain text file and/or a CSV file would be most helpful. From their someone could markup the file to use as he/she wishes: for import, back up or printing.

And I wasn't expecting a direct import to iGTD! Having the option to export to a text file would make it possible to do this and so much more.

I will send this via the Feedback form as well.

Thanks,
Eric

Hiya, There are a whole collection of Applescripts in the Omnifocus Extra's forum that will generate emails, texts etc from your OF data. Very helpful.
