Auto-layout ignoring some locked shapes?
 

When I use auto-layout on a canvas, having first locked some shapes (some of the solid shapes and some of the lines connecting them), the auto-layout seems to correctly leave the locked solids alone, but ignores the locking of the lines i.e. it goes ahead and re-routes the locked lines, which is not what I expected.

Is this intended?

Judging from the behaviour of orthogonal lines, Auto-layout seems to be affected but not stopped by locking of individual lines.

Layer locking may yield better results – shapes and lines on locked layers do seem to be ignored by AutoLayout, while objects on other (unlocked) layers respond to its whims.
