Not properly printing PDFs

I have OmniWeb set to display PDFs when I click on them in my browser. It displays fine, but when I print them the print output is messed up. It doesn’t properly align the PDF on the page, it offsets it to the right by about half a page. So what I have to do to print them is download them and then I print them in Skim (my local PDF app).

Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are some issues with printing PDFs. I would suggest opening the PDF in preview, this option can be found in the overlay when you hover near the bottom of the window and doesn't force you to first save the PDF to disk if you prefer not to do that.

thanks Troy. Yeah, I use Skim instead of Preview, but will do. I’m hoping they’ll get this remedied, much more convenient just to view and print them natively within OW.

TIP:
Insufficient printer memory can cause problems when printing large PDF documents. One option to try is to download the file, then print a few pages at a time.
TIP:
If the PDF document does not print properly from Adobe Reader, you may need to select the "Shrink to Fit" box (located in the lower left corner of the print dialog box) and choose "None" under "Page Handling" and "Page Scaling."

cristina, thanks, but I don’t think those tips are relevant to this issue.

Actually, I don’t think this is specifically an OW issue, I think it’s a webkit issue. I’m getting the same printing behavior in Safari with that PDF add on. Or, it’s the guy who designed the PDF add on, his functionality.
