I'm posting this here as I see OF as central to my workflow.

I have pretty much the full Omni productivity range (Outliner, Plan, Graffle) and as developer/ manager I would be interested if there are any particular benefits to say, ensuring that Outliner becomes my notetaker/ clipping repository of choice of in preference to any of the many others in terms of the benefits it brings to my OF party or is OF very much a 'stand alone' type of thing?

FWIW... Like you I use all four Omni products. I find it very convenient to be able to cut&paste between them and generally get what I expect out of it. Also I link back and forth, e.g. a task in OF has a link to a project plan, which links to a mind map (Graffle), which links to OO documents. My "Areas of Focus" mind map (OG) has links to OP plans, OF projects and OO docs. Etc...

Don't know if that was what you were asking for. The biggest particular benefit I see is the consistent look & feel for most of my workflow.
