iCal sync and Leopard iCal Server?

This is a question that I hope an OmniDude/OmniNinja can shed some light on...

Sync to iCal looks great right now with the ability to send Contexts to arbitrary calendars. However the list of available calendars excludes any that are stored on a Leopard iCal server.

Is this by design or an issue that will be addressed before version 1.0?

The reason I ask is that if you can sync to an iCal server calendar and crucially one that you have delegated access to you can do very crude but effective delegation of tasks, with visibility to team members if they also have delegated rights to the sync'd calendar.

Any indication would be of use as I am avoiding looking at alternatives at the moment hanging on the hope that this gets implemented..

Cheers
Jason

... and IMAP calendars

Similarly, it looks like IMAP/.Mac calendars on iCal are not available for push-pull in OF. As these appear likely to figure in the (eventual) iPhone to-do solution, I'd like to see these included.

My guess this is a limitation of the syncservices that the OS provides and which OF uses. I wonder if you can create events on these non-local calendars with Applescript, that could prove a kludge of a workaround. I have on my backburner list a way to sync a perspective to an iCal, so that I can just see important/upcomming tasks in iCal/Mail/iPhone...
