Viewing "Due Today" tasks within a project

Hello all,

Since sorting by date within a Project is not possible, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to let the user view only those tasks of a project that are due today.

Thanks

It is possible, just not in project mode. Focus on the project, switch to context mode, group by due date, close all groups except due today. Save as a perspective (making sure Restore:Focus is not checked) and you can use the perspective whenever you need such a view.

You can sort by date within a project, in the Project view. Select all the tasks in the project and go to the Edit menu, choose Sort, By Date Due.

It is important to note the difference between the two suggestions. Greg's suggestion rearranges the order of the actions, just like dragging the around in project view. This may not be what you want in a sequential project. My suggestion changes the display order in that window only, and does not alter the order in which actions will be shown if viewing only next actions.
